Oh! The weather outside is frightful, but the ramen is so delightful! Okay, so we all know the temps outside are anything but warm and sunny, and, as college students, winter tends to mean one thing—hibernation.  (Admit it, you know you don’t want to leave your room.)  But what is a student to do when their stomachs start a-grumbling?  Da-duh-da-da!  Ramen to the rescue!  I’m not talking about your typical, run-of-the-mill ramen.  I’m talking crazy delicious, blow your mind with out of this world flavor ramen. Yeah. That good.
How do you make this amazing ramen?  I’ve got a few tasty recipes, beginning with ramacos.  No, that’s not a typo; it’s ramen and tacos all mixed into one satisfying meal!
First things first, get a taco-making kit, the kind that comes with the shells and the taco seasoning.  Second, only make half of the recommended ground beef, and instead add in a pack of crunched up ramen noodles.  Then, add in the seasoning packet, cook until the meat is done and the noodles are how you like them and you’re good to go!  Put the mixture into a nice, crunchy shell and add whatever toppings you like.
Next up is ramen mac ‘n cheese.  This is a yummy twist on a college classic.  All you need is eight ounces of shredded cheddar cheese, one tablespoon cornstarch, three-fourths a cup of milk and two packages of ramen noodles.  Take the cheese and cornstarch and add them along with the milk to a medium sized saucepan.  Cook this at medium heat until smooth and creamy, and keep it warm until serving.  Then, with your noodles, boil them in a separate pan, and drain once fully cooked.  Combine the cheese and noodles and dinner is ready!
This next recipe combines the best of both worlds: pizza and ramen.  To start off, gather up some pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, your favorite pizza toppings and, of course, a package of ramen noodles.  The noodles will be like the crust of the pizza, so you need to cut them vertically in order to get the appropriate thickness.  After that, spread sauce over the noodles until it just barely peeks through the bottom. Sprinkle your cheese on top and add whatever other toppings you like, and then place your pizza in the oven.  Make sure to watch your pizza so it doesn’t burn.  Once the cheese is golden brown, take it out and it’s ready to be devoured!
And last, but certainly not least, dessert ramen.  This scrumptious dish is super easy to make and will definitely satisfy that sweet tooth.  Cook the noodles like you normally would, but instead of adding the seasoning packet, add a cup of brown sugar.  Then pour out most of the water and add a teaspoon of vanilla extract and a cup of chocolate syrup.  If that’s not sweet enough for you, try adding powdered sugar or whipped cream on top.  These mouth-watering recipes will help you survive this frigid tundra called Wisconsin.  Happy ramen making!
