The La Crosse Tribune reported that the La Crosse County health department received a notification today about a confirmed case of COVID-19 in La Crosse County.

The department said, “As always, it is important to remember that viruses don’t discriminate and neither should we.”

Information about the individual will be withheld in order to keep them and their family safe at this time.

The La Crosse County health department was alerted through the Wisconsin Electronic Disease Surveillance System (WEDSS).
