I’m pleased to let you know that UWL is providing a one-time COVID-19 student worker income continuation payment to all active student hourly workers who have logged hours on or since March 1, 2020. Students who qualify will receive $100 per week for two weeks for a total payment of $200.

The payment will be effective for the April A payroll, which began on March 29, 2020, and will end on April 11, 2020. Students may expect payment on Thursday, April 23. Student-workers who have logged hours during the April A pay period will receive this payment in addition to their logged hours during the same pay period.

The student worker income continuation payment is a one-time action designed to help UWL student employees who have not been able to continue their jobs during the COVID-19 crisis. Thank you for your service to our campus community and my best to you as you complete the Spring Semester.
