The Pride Center at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse held their 17th Annual Drag Show “Leather and Lace” on Saturday, April 13 at 7p.m. BB Queen, a UWL alum and drag show performer from the Twin Cities who helped host the show.  

Every year the Pride Center is able to donate three scholarships to LGBTQ+ students at UWL. There are two Eagle Pride Scholarships. One is a $1,000 scholarship to returning LGBTQ+ students and the other is a $500 scholarship to LGBTQ+ first year students or students transferring to UWL. The Sara Sullivan Study Abroad LGBTQ+ Scholarship is a $500 scholarship for LGBTQ+ students studying abroad the following year.

At the end of the show it was announced they raised $810 by donations that will go towards these scholarships.
