UWL student Emma Hedding: “My friends told me there were people protesting abortion on campus with large signs, so I thought, ‘The other side of the argument needs to also have large signs’. This is the biggest thing I could find. So instead of going to the rest of my classes I made this sign and came down here…I think they’re definitely using scare tactics with the photos they have on their posters and I don’t love that they brought children into this environment. A couple of young boys came up to me saying, ‘What if your mom aborted you?’ and ‘Don’t you consider it a living being?’”

UWL student Jacob Larsen: “I just think what they are doing is wrong. Most of them are men, and it is a woman’s right to choose what happens to her body. Trying to scare women into making a choice that they think is better for their health is a terrible thing. I want [UWL students] to know that this is their choice. If they have a uterus, it is their choice to decide what happens with it. And if they don’t have a uterus, it’s not their choice!” #humansofuwl
