Grace Walton is a junior from Menomonee Falls studying Public Health at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She works at UW-La Crosse Murphy Library. Walton said, “One of my favorite UWL memories was last semester when I finished my last exam. My friends and I sat out in the sun and had a picnic. Then we went down to Pettibone, dipped our feet in the water. We ended the day sitting on our friend’s roof and watching the sunset.”

Walton shared her post-graduation aspirations. “Eventually I want to get on the global level with public health instead of staying at the local level. I’d like to help bigger communities—maybe go to other countries to help out there,” said Walton.

“I want to do something that benefits people directly. I know if you’re a business major you’re helping with finance, keeping the economy going. But I want to personally help people that need help. Make a change in the world. I know that sounds cliché,” said Walton. #humansofuwl
