“This semester at UWL I’m only taking one class. I had been struggling with my mental health and school was a big stressor for me. I knew what I needed to do was slow things down and take the time I needed to care for myself. There’s a lot of judgement and stigma around not graduating in four years, or not being a full time student. I’m an advocate for a student body that supports one another and taking the actions needed to get healthier, mentally and physically,” said Nina Kilcoyne.
