Joseph Comeau is a senior at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse majoring in political science. “I’m from a town in central Wisconsin. It’s only about an hour and 30 minute drive. I try to make it home at least once a month to see my dogs and recharge. College is hard, but the hardest part is absolutely having no idea what you’re going to do after college–and how life’s going to pan out. All you kinda got to rely on in college is the love and friendships you have… and knowing that everyone else around you is at that same point.

Home for me is on 100 acres of land. It’s nice to get away from the pressures of school and all the people and just hang out with my dogs. When first starting college a lot of people want to get away from home and start brand new, but after being in college a while, you realize your roots really hold true to who you are.”
