Breckin Sargeant is helping University of Wisconsin-La Crosse students register to vote this week on campus. Today there will be voter registration at the Student Union from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Wednesday in Whitney Dining Center from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Thursday in Centennial Hall from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

“We are helping students get registered to vote, answering their questions and getting them ready for the April elections. A lot of people think that their vote doesn’t matter just because it’s one vote, but everyone’s vote really does matter. You have to take advantage of that right and get out and vote. Voting is really a lot easier than it looks. It’s not that scary, you come and fill out a piece of paperwork and you’re done,” said Sargeant.
